Chosen for its metropolitan ambience and varied infrastructure, Titan’s foot training is predominantly based in Nottingham City Centre, which boasts a full quota of public services and transportation making it the ideal location in which to learn/ practice foot surveillance.
Nottinghamshire County is again the ideal backdrop in which to practice mobile surveillance as it provides versatility through easy access to rural areas, airports, and motorway networks. Training designed/ based around complex environments such as these will provide students with the knowledge and adaptability to be able to operate in most city, urban and rural settings.
The Titan 2 day London Foot Surveillance course equips students with an awareness of what to expect and further knowledge of how to conduct surveillance in a busy capital city.
Our lectures are all held at Nottingham Trent University offering modern and discreet learning environments in which to teach the range of diverse elements that make up surveillance tradecraft and theory.
Simon Henson - Senior Instructor
Simon brings a wealth of operational and training experience to Titan’s surveillance courses. He began his 17 years Police service in 1997 where he quickly diversified into the covert world, operating as a surveillance operative/investigator.
A former Security Service (MI5) Mobile Surveillance Operator, with operational experience in conducting surveillance against Serious Organised Crime, Industrial Espionage, and Counter-Terrorism.
A former SRR military operative and surveillance instructor who served for 24 years and who has 8 years working within the top tier of the commercial surveillance industry both Nationally and Internationally.
Titan’s Renowned Student Aftercare “GROW”
On successful completion of Titan’s 5 Day Surveillance Course, students aren’t then left to find their way in this hard but exciting industry. Titan has a loyalty to their students and offers aftercare in the form of “GROW”.
Group - Added to Titan’s Operational Resourcing Group where students will be allocated their first operational tasks.

The CPD (Continuing Professional Development) courses are aimed at operators who are already working within the sector and simply wish to either refresh or improve their knowledge or learn a new speciality to develop their skill base. CPD combines different methodologies to learning, such as training workshops, conferences and events, e-learning programs, best practice techniques and ideas sharing.
We offer discounted parking for all Titan Private Investigator Training students at Q-Park Talbot Street, located around the corner from the venue, for £7.50 for up to 8 hours and £9.50 for up to 24 hours.

Titan’s City Centre location within the campus of Nottingham Trent University means many of the UK’s biggest and most well-known hotel chains are within walking distance of the Centre, providing plenty of accommodation choices to suit all requirements and budgets. For those who prefer to stay outside of the busy City Centre, there is also a wide variety of rural retreats to choose from.

Travel by Car
From the M1 North to Titan’s Training Centre
Leave the M1 motorway at junction 26 and follow the A610 signposted to Nottingham. Continue through two roundabouts for approximately 4.3 miles and then take a slight left onto Talbot Street. Continue down Talbot Street for a further 0.5 miles and Titan’s Training Centre is located on your left within the grounds of Nottingham Trent University.
From the M1 South to Titan’s Training Centre
Leave the M1 motorway at junction 25 and follow the A52 signposted to Nottingham. Head northeast on Brain Clough Way/A52, through three roundabouts for approximately 5.5 miles. At the fourth roundabout, take the second exit onto Derby Road/A6200 and continue to follow A6200 for 1.5 miles. Turn left onto St. Helen’s St and stay right to continue on St Helen’s St. At the T-junction, turn right onto Alfreton Rd/A610 and take the slight left onto Talbot St. Continue for 0.5 miles and Titan’s Training Centre is located on your left within the grounds of Nottingham Trent University.
Travel by Train
Titan’s Training Centre is just a 1 mile (approx.15 minute walk) from Nottingham Train Station.
Timetable information is available at the National Rail website and tickets can be booked through East Midlands Trains.
Titan’s Training Centre is easily accessible from the train station via public transport. Upon arrival in Nottingham follow the signs for the tram (Nottingham Express Transit) to Station Street tram stop nearby.
The Royal Centre stop is the nearest stop for Titan’s Training Centre based within the grounds of Nottingham Trent University but students can also use Nottingham Trent University’s own tram stop on Goldsmith Street.
Travel by Air
The closest airport to Nottingham is East Midlands Airport (EMA) which is 15 miles outside of Nottingham, taking less than 30 minutes by car or bus. Nottingham is well connected to the airport by bus using the Skylink bus service that runs every 30 minutes and stops a few minutes walk away from Nottingham Conference Centre. More information on fares and timetables can be found on the East Midlands Airport website. Taxis are also available at the airport.
