Blue teaming is a team who react to the red team and try to prevent the attack.
Purple teaming is where two teams work together either in conjunction or by sharing information after the test.
Black teaming is a phase used to describe a physical penetration test.
There are six phases to a physical penetration test.

- Deliveries
- Security protocols
- ID cards/ security fobs/ plain clothed security
Attack Planning
This is the analysis of all the information gathered in the previous stages.
- Identifying vulnerabilities
- Entry/ exit points
- Cameras/ security
- Technology
Pretexting
- Planning and intelligence gathering by various means by now have morphed into a plan of attack which includes pretexting.
- The team’s equipment, transportation and personnel are synchronized and ready to execute with proof of lawful entry.
- Exploitation
- This is the execution of the plan, exploiting vulnerabilities identified
- Overt and covert attacks
- Leaving markers where we have been
- Gain covert footage
- Safely exit
- Post Exploitation
